Social Media Specialist II (EMAS)

The Social Media Specialist II is a highly visible position charged with developing and managing the organic and paid social media presence and reputation of Enrollment Management and Services (EMAS) at NC State University. This position will manage the undergraduate admissions Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts along with the @summeratncstate Instagram account. The person in this position is responsible for producing original content, including photos and videos, to be used on social media and web.
Social Media Adviser: Student-Generated Content

The Social Media Adviser: Student-Generated Content plays a critical role in expanding NC State University’s social media marketing and communications presence, engaging key audiences while building distribution channels for university content. This position is responsible for launching, overseeing and optimizing the Student-Generated Social Media Content program dedicated to supporting Enrollment Management and Services (EMAS) admissions processes, deadlines and other goals and objectives through user-generated content best practices. The ideal candidate plays a critical role as an adviser to a group of student content creators, with the goal of expanding NC State University’s social media presence among potential students and EMAS target audiences. This role will be responsible for recruiting and managing a group of creative student content creators, generating analytics reports to make data-driven content decisions, community management, and working with other members of the Social Media Strategy Hub to incorporate partnership content into the overall social media strategy of the university.
