Bio
Lindsay Recchie serves as the Interim Chief of Staff and Assistant to the Chancellor at NC State University. She has been the Assistant to the Chancellor for the past 10 years, maintaining his daily schedule, preparing his materials, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Prior to that role, Lindsay spent five years in the University Special Events department, overseeing the Chancellor’s Athletic entertaining and other events. She started her career in banking and finance, where she spent 15 years in the wholesale mortgage industry.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, she attended The Ohio State University but has called North Carolina her home for the past 18 years. Lindsay is a two-time recipient of the University Award for Excellence, winning for Customer Service in 2014 and Safety and Heroism in 2016. She also received the Governor’s Award for Excellence in 2016, which is the highest honor that can be bestowed on a state employee for their exemplary service to the State of North Carolina and its people.
