In 2016, NC State launched the Think & Do the Extraordinary Campaign, the most ambitious fundraising effort in the history of the university. We surpassed our $1.6 billion goal two years early, raising a total of $2.1 billion by the campaign’s end in 2021. We are dedicated to helping NC State achieve its full potential, transforming lives in North Carolina and solving the grand challenges of a complicated world.

Advancement at NC State

Advancement has a presence in all colleges and units across NC State. Development officers work with central University Advancement on a number of exciting projects and initiatives. Whether you are passionate about Agriculture, Engineering or Veterinary Medicine, or if you have a keen interest in Student Affairs, the Arts or the Libraries, we have a team dedicated to elevating each college, as well as the University, to the highest level of success.

The Division of University Advancement at NC State is the home of University Communications and MarketingUniversity DevelopmentAdvancement Services, and Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving.
